Becoming a Friend of Nature
Joining Naturefriends means choosing a lifestyle where friendliness, solidarity, and respect for the environment are at the heart of every activity. It also means defending a certain idea of humanity: free, curious, committed, and surrounded by unspoiled nature.
Friends of Nature France is a federation of 80 local associations in France. Each association is autonomous and offers its own activities, according to the desires and talents of its members. By joining one of them, you will participate actively in the life of the movement, in collective projects, shared moments, and lasting memories.
Come and discover, learn, pass on knowledge, and share. Whether you are sporty, contemplative, a DIY enthusiast, a gardener, an artist, or simply curious about nature, you will find your place among us.
Becoming a Friend of Nature means enjoying (and volunteering for) active, enriching, and fulfilling leisure activities.
How to join
Individual or family membership is generally obtained from the local association closest to your home.
It allows you to:
– become truly rooted in your local community.
– participate in activities offered by the association you join, as well as those offered by other associations located nearby or further afield, and even those offered by the International Friends of Nature network.
– access to the houses and facilities of the entire Friends of Nature network, in France and beyond!
Membership fees depend on the local association, but we strive to keep them affordable, even for families.
