The Marais Refuge
The Marais refuge in Belledonne (1,130 m) welcomes you for long and short stays.
The Marais des Seiglières refuge could be described as “the little house on the prairie.”
It is a rustic house nestled in the forest, in a clearing at an altitude of 1,100 m, below Chamrousse and above the spa resort of Uriage.
You can go on easy or difficult hikes and join the Grenoble group to discover the region's hiking trails.
On sunny days, barbecues and games of boules or cards are the highlights of the evenings, especially since the only ones bothered by the noise are the animals in the forest—there are no neighbors!
Rest and tranquility are its strengths: no pollution (electrosensitive people welcome).
It is managed by the Friends of Nature of Grenoble.
