Munster bus station 9.3 miles away.

Natural sites:

From the terrace of the refuge, you can discover one of the most beautiful sites in the Vosges, the Hohneck massif with its glacial basins, Lake Schissroth, Spitzkoepfe, and Wormspel. To see the chamois up close, go to the summit of Hohneck and, on the southern slope, observe them in the steep Wormspel valley early in the morning.

  • The Schlitte Museum in Mühlbach Turckheim, a town in the Alsace Decapolis, where, in addition to the intact medieval architecture within the town walls, you can visit the museum dedicated to the battles of the Colmar Pocket (December 1944 to February 1945)
